Medical Massage
Half Hour: $50 | One Hour: $75 | Hour and a Half: $100Medical Massage uses many different massage techniques with the intent of improving or correcting medically diagnosed conditions. These sessions are centered around the clients specific needs indicated by their Medical Doctor, Chiropractor, or Physical Therapist. Some techniques used in these sessions include MyoFascial Release, Manual Lymph Drainage, Orthopedic Massage , Assisted Positonal Release, Passive and Assisted Stretches, Reflexology, and Cranial Sacral Therapy. Some common conditions include Migraines, TMJD, Frozen Shoulder, Fassett Disease, Spinal Degeneration, Pinched Nerves, and PTSD to name a few. This modality requires addition training and should only be administered by properly trained Massage Therapist and Bodyworkers.
Myofascial Massage
MyoFascial Release is the application of holding pressure and moving the fascia layers to release restrictions. The practitioner will first assess what areas need releasing by watching your body movements and palpating the fascia and surrounding tissues. Gentle pressure is then applied in the direction of the restriction until it is released. This is an advanced technique that benefits individuals with cervical pain, low back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia and other neurological dysfunctions.
Manual Lymph Drainage
Half Hour: $50 | One Hour: $75 | Hour and a Half: $100Manual Lymph Drainage involves gentle and rhythmic techniques to aid the body with natural cleansing. This method requires advanced training and precise movements to stimulate lymph flow. When done correctly manual lymph drainage can reduce inflammation, and toxins in the body. Other benefits include boosting your immune system and calming nerves.
Swedish Massage
Half Hour: $50 | One Hour: $75 | Hour and a Half: $100This is the most commonly used massage modality. Most massage therapy students learn the fundamentals of Swedish before anything else. Swedish techniques are used to relax, mobilize, and energize muscles. Also known as Relaxation Massage, Swedish improves circulation, can reduce swelling, and can promote healing in scarred or damaged tissue.
Aromatherapy
Essential Oils have been used for thousands of years for their healing and relaxing properties. Derived frim plants, flowers, and woods each oil has its own characteristics and benefits. Massage Therapist will use these in their massage oils to apply directly to the skin or through diffuser for Aromatherapy during sessions. Specific blends can be used for improving circulation, easing sore muscles, relaxation, and the healing of wounds and bruises.
Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient chinese modality that believes areas of the feet,hands, and ears correspond reflex points to other areas of the body. By applying pressure to these points, you can alieviate pain and promote healing in other parts of the body. Studies have shown that Reflexology can aid in many medical conditions including anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, sinusitis, as well as cancer.
